CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The Bowl of Lemons

We value your time and ours. This policy exists to ensure fairness, clarity and availability for all clients.

By booking a consultation, program or service with The Bowl of Lemons, you agree to the following terms.


CONSULTATION BOOKINGS

All consultations must be paid in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.


RESCHEDULING POLICY

We understand that life happens and flexibility matters.

• You may reschedule your appointment up to three (3) times without penalty.
• We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule.
• Rescheduled appointments must take place within 2 weeks of the original booking unless otherwise agreed.

If an appointment is rescheduled more than three times, the prepaid session fee may be forfeited at our discretion.

This policy allows us to maintain availability for all clients while offering reasonable flexibility.


CANCELLATION POLICY

If you cancel your appointment:

• With at least 24 hours’ notice – you may request a refund or reschedule.
• With less than 24 hours’ notice – the session fee may be forfeited.

Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in forfeiture of the session fee.

Repeated cancellations or non-attendance may result in refusal of future bookings.


EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES

We understand that emergencies, illness or unforeseen events may occur.

Exceptions to this policy may be considered at our discretion. Clients are encouraged to communicate promptly in such circumstances.

REFUNDS – CONSULTATIONS

Where a refund is approved:

• Refunds will be processed within 14 business days.
• Refunds will be issued via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

We comply with Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.


DIGITAL PRODUCTS

Due to the nature of digital products (including ebooks, guides and downloadable resources), all digital product purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

If you receive an incorrect file or experience technical issues accessing your purchase, we will provide a corrected version.


PROGRAMS OR PACKAGES

Where you purchase a package, membership or longer-term service:

• Separate terms may apply.
• Refund eligibility will depend on the specific agreement entered into at the time of purchase.

If no separate agreement is provided, services already delivered are non-refundable.


IF WE CANCEL

If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment:

• You will be offered an alternative time, or
• You may request a full refund.


COMMUNICATION

It is your responsibility to review and understand this policy before booking.

By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and accept this Cancellation and Refund Policy.


POLICY UPDATES

We reserve the right to update this policy at any time.

Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
